Cape Coral is a boaters´ paradise. The canal system and the beautiful beaches are simply amazing. After a 35 minutes ride through the canals of Cape Coral (mostly the wide, nice San Carlos Canal) you reach the speedzone of the Caloosahatchee River. You can go to the beaches of Sanibel and Captiva Island, Fort Myers Beach and downtown easily on signposted waterways. The tropical island of Cabagge Key is not far away, too.
